What should you bring to a
free tax preparation site?

• Photo identification

• W-2 forms from all jobs or final pay stubs if you don’t have the actual W-2

• 1098 forms (if applicable)

• 1099-G form for any other income. (if applicable)

• Social Security number for all family members claimed on the return (or Individual Tax Identification Numbers (ITIN)

• Child care provider’s identification number

• Taxpayer’s banking information for refund deposits

• A copy of 2009 tax return, if possible

• Statements received from a mortgage company in 2009

• Any IRS notices received during 2009

• Workers with Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs) should bring the ITIN letter sent to them by the IRS
