Give an hour. Give a Saturday. Think of we before me.
Everyday, ordinary people are accomplishing extraordinary things by volunteering in their local communities. It could be for just one day, painting the home of a low-income senior during Day of Caring. It could be for a month, participating on a Community Investment Committee to make funding recommendations for nonprofit programs. It could be for a year, serving on one of many committees that United Way convenes to address community needs.
Whether it's for a day, a month, or a year, our volunteers are critical to our success.
UWTC works closely with The Volunteer Center of Lewis, Mason and Thurston Counties, who match people with volunteer opportunities, provide volunteer management training and consultation and promote volunteering as a community value. To learn more, click here.
