2012 Community Assessment
United Way of Thurston County has completed its 2012 Community Assessment. This year we conducted a leaner assessment with an eye to reducing costs as well as assessing community needs and conditions more regularly. This year’s Assessment includes a review of data spotlighting community, economic and social conditions and indicators and well as measuring the perspectives of diverse community members through a survey and follow up focus groups. The survey focused on three primary areas: community strengths, community challenges, and the funding priorities/strategies of the United Way of Thurston County.
