What is it like to have your period when you are homeless?
The Dignity Project, a new initiative by the Women United Advocacy Committee, needs your help to collect menstruation products of all kinds-- tampons, sanitary napkins, etc...
Through this project, we want to empower women and remove any stigma or embarrassment that can come from trying to afford these items. We will give these items to select local non-profits to distribute to those in need in donated purses or backpacks.
Women United of United Way of Thurston County appreciates the donations of products and purses we've already received. We also welcome your tax-deductible cash donations to buy extra needed items.
Want to help?
We accept donations any time at the United Way during office hours.
