United Way of Thurston County’s Day of Caring is our largest volunteer event of the year—bringing together individuals, businesses, and organizations to make a hands-on difference. From landscaping and painting to harvesting gardens and cleaning public spaces, this is your chance to give back, build community, and show what it means to LIVE UNITED.
Who can volunteer?
Anyone! Individuals, families, employee teams, and community groups are all welcome.
What kinds of projects?
Over 20 projects across the county, including:
- Painting and landscaping at homes of low-income or disabled residents
- Garden harvests for local food banks
- Invasive species removal in public parks
- Facility improvements for local nonprofits
