WU Shelter Shower

Women United of United Way of Thurston County Shelter Shower 2019

On Monday, December 2, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at the Olympia Country and Golf Club, Women United of United Way of Thurston County will throw a ‘Shelter Shower’ for twins! This year, they will shower SafePlace and Family Support Center of South Sound with household items detailed on their ‘registry’ lists here.

SafePlace works for societal change to prevent sexual and domestic violence while offering crisis intervention, education, and long-term advocacy services.

Family Support Center seeks to build strong, healthy, safe, and hopeful families through six collaborative programs and multiple services, utilizing a "one-stop-shop" model. The Family Support Center diligently works to end family homelessness, poverty, and family violence through programs and services.

United Way invites the community to join Women United at Shelter Shower to support these organizations with gifts and to enjoy appetizers and drinks!

Bring friends and learn more about how these two programs benefit the women of Thurston County.
