Thank You for a Successful 2025 Tax Help Season
United Way of Thurston County extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the 2025 AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program a success in Thurston County—from the dedicated volunteers and site coordinators to the community partners who hosted tax preparation locations, and the residents who trusted us with this important service.
Together, we helped ensure neighbors across Thurston County had access to free, reliable tax preparation and e-filing, and support in applying for the Washington Working Families Tax Credit—putting critical dollars back into household budgets and strengthening financial stability for working families.
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide served taxpayers of all ages and income levels, preparing federal tax returns at seven locations throughout Thurston County. In most cases, returns were completed in a single visit, helping participants move through tax season with confidence and peace of mind.
