Women United Live United
Leading the Charge. Inspiring the Change.
We are Women United.
United Way of Thurston County fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community.
Any woman who makes United Way part of her philanthropy has the opportunity to become part of a group of dynamic women working together to solve urgent, local community problems – Women United.
Women United celebrates the power of women to bring about positive change in our community through philanthropy and service.
We Ignite Change | In addition to their support for United Way of Thurston County, Women United also works to identify local issues that need urgent attention within the larger United Way focus areas. The current priority of Women United is to support programs providing resources for a growing and vulnerable population: families with children who are currently homeless or on the verge of becoming homeless.
United Way of Thurston County uses the Results-Based AccountabilityTM (RBA) framework for our Women United grant investments. RBA uses a data-driven, decision-making process to help communities and organizations get beyond talking about problems to taking action to solve problems.
